Camas Tuath

Camas Tuath on the Isle of Mull is a place where many folks have had their lives changed for the better over the years. We're a local group of people with a close connection to Camas who are very keen for that to continue. We need your help!

Out of our comfort zone.

“Nothing good comes from comfort zones!” Alfie added these words to the graffitied walls of Camas two years ago. We are taking Alfie's words as a call to action.

Camas has been a place where people, many living with real disadvantage, have been stretched out of their comfort zones. That stretch has helped them to learn about themselves, grow in confidence and thrive in community.

A decision was made to end the current activity at Camas in August 2026. And so we are taking Alfie's advice, stepping out of our comfort zone to try to find another way. Will you join us?

Camas Tuath

We are a small group of people with a close connection to Camas who believe that the work done here for people on the margins is worth trying to continue.

We are at the very beginning of exploring whether an independent organisation could take on the running of Camas Tuath and carry its work forward. There is a great deal still to work out. Nothing is certain. But we believe it is worth exploring, and we want to do that together.

If you share that belief, the most important thing you can do right now is sign up below. When you do, we will be in touch with more information about how you might be able to help as our plans take shape.
